Prospective real-world study · Metastatic pulmonary LCNEC · NCT06049966

17.4 months

Median overall survival with CT+A versus 8.0 months with CT alone; HR 0.34 (95% CI 0.11–1.07).

40% / 0%

48-month overall survival: CT+A versus CT alone. 12-month overall survival: 60% versus 14.3%.

30.1 months

Median treatment-free interval among four long-term survivors after stopping atezolizumab at 24 months.

Study Design & Population

A prospective, single-centre, non-randomised real-world study of 17 patients with metastatic pulmonary LCNEC: chemotherapy plus atezolizumab (CT+A, n=10) versus chemotherapy alone (CT, n=7). Atezolizumab was stopped at 24 months in patients without progression. Median follow-up was 53.4 months.

The four-year analysis reported median overall survival of 17.4 versus 8.0 months (HR 0.34; 95% CI 0.11–1.07; p=0.06) and 48-month survival of 40% versus 0%. The small sample and non-randomised design require confirmation.

Publications and Scientific Outputs

The LANCE pilot article was published in Biomedicines (2024; DOI 10.3390/biomedicines12061161). The final four-year analysis was presented as mini-oral 279MO (2026). ePoster #1470 on circulating miR-375 is a LANCE translational output; until the official embargo release, the Research hub lists bibliographic details only.
